Is A Good School Better To Send A Child Or One That Has Sports?

My son is a sports fantatic. The problem is the school I am sending him to does not offer sports. He eats sleeps and dreams football. I can send him to a public, but then he wont get a good education. Does anyone have an opinion. I hate to have his heart broken sending him to a school that does not have sports. Any Suggestions?

Elementary school, middle school, high school. In each one, the class sizes grow, you meet new people, and go to a new school. It helps kids learn to be social as well as accept and adapt to change. When I got to college, it seemed about half of the people there went to a private school. I had a much better educational base than most people who had attended private schools. Additionally, many of the people from private schools seemed socially awkward and uncomfortable in new environments. Most likely this is because they had the same 70 classmates their whole life and missed all those developmental experiences. Most importantly, you should ask what would make your son happy. Obviously, he wants to play football. If the public schools in your area are that bad, at least try to find a private one that has football. I couldnt have imagined school without sports. Sports will teach your son hard work, dedication, teamwork, and it will also help him build social skills and make friends. These things can be applied to any other aspect of life, which is why sports are so valuable to child development.
