Anyone Here Think Science Is Pointless?

I know there are some jobs that do require knowledge of science, like astronomer, chemist, scientist, geologist, maybe astronomer, but I want to be a sports broadcaster. If I do, would I ever need to know any kind of science?

  • Perhaps the most important thing I've learned in life is that EVERYTHING is related in some way to everything else.
  • In order to even see these relationships you need at least a general knowledge of all fields of interest carnegie science center sports complex.
  • Did you know that Newton proposed 7 colors (Red, Orange,Yellow, Green, Blue, indigo and violet) not because he actually SAW seven colors (no one does) but because he was into Alchemy and he felt 7 was an important number?
  • In order to understand why this is comical (at least to many) you'd have to at least understand what visible light is and what Alchemy is.
  • Ever heard the expression "Pee like a racehorse" ?
  • carnegie science center sports complex.
  • That's sports related but unless you know that racehorses are often given a diuretic to help them drop weight before a race, thereby increasing their speed....you wouldn't get it carnegie science center sports complex.
  • Science: chemical action of diuretics and weight/speed .
  • + "Run for the Roses = interesting conversation.
  • And I've listened to sportscasters....even though I have little interest in sports, I like to listen to them quip because their conversations are well rounded and amusing.
  • A dry recounting of events isn't going to get you a job as a sportscaster.
  • An interesting conversational style will...
  • and you need a well rounded basic education for that.
  • Doesn't mean you have to learn rocket science;) Just know what it is.
  • Good luck in your career!no all sports are led by physics laws btw

Modern Olympians spend years studying forces and motions and frictions that affect or enhance there performance carnegie science center sports complex.
